Standard equipment in the 360 for 2002 and 2003 includes the 3.6 liter engine by Ferrari, weighing in at 8 cylinders and fourty valves. A 6-speed Standard Transmission puts the power of the engine to the pavement. The has proven to be a popular configuration for the 360.

The 360 uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and coil springs front and rear respectively.

Statistics

The dimensions of the 360 Challenge are 75.60 inches wide by 176.30 inches long. It sits 47.70 inches off the ground. It seats a standard two passengers, with 2 doors. The wheelbase of 102.30 allows for extra leg room for the rear passengers.

The standard warranty period for the 360 is 24 months, or Unlimited miles, whichever comes first. This is standard in the coupe market.

The original manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) was $165,986 when new, with a dealer invoice cost of an industry-low price. This price was in line with the industry average price for a 2-door Coupe.

Fuel Efficiency

The fuel system for the 2003 360 is a traditional Bosch ME-7.3, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 25.10 gallons.

The 360 Challenge received a miles-per-gallon rating of eleven in-city driving and sixteen when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was within normal parameters.

What We Think of the Ferrari 360

The 2003 model year was very successful for the Ferrari 360. The introduction of several trim levels (along with the Challenge version) meant that buyers could find the version that best suited their needs.
