Our Review of the 1999 Ferrari F355 Spider Base

In 1999 Ferrari released the F355 Spider Base to the car-buying market. The F355 Spider came in one configurations: Base. The Base configuration is powered by the 3.5-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 23 highway miles and 17 city. The F355 Spider competes in the Convertible market segment, in direct competition with Toyota.

Ferrari F355 Spider Engine Specs

The F355 Spider Base is equipped with a Ferrari 3.5 liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 40 valves. The engine is mated to a Ferrari 6-speed Transaxle. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Ferrari.
