First Impressions of the Ferrari F50 for 1995

In 1995 Ferrari released the F50 Base to the car-buying market. The F50 came in one configurations: Base. The Base configuration is powered by the 4.7-liter twelve -cylinder engine, which makes 23 highway miles and 17 city. The F50 competes in the Coupe market segment, in direct competition with Lexus.

Ferrari F50 Engine Specs

The F50 Base is equipped with a Ferrari 4.7 liter twelve -cylinder engine that utilizes 60 valves. The engine is mated to a Ferrari 6-speed Transaxle. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Ferrari.

Steering control is handled through a manual-steering rack-style configuration. The F50 has power-assisted brakes, with Non-ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. The car uses coil front springs and coil in the rear.

Fuel is handled for the F50 is a Bosch ME-2.7 design, running on gasoline fuel. The gasoline is managed by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The 12-gallon tank provides the fuel storage for longer trips.

Fuel Efficiency

The F50 Base received a miles-per-gallon rating of seventeen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to long-distance. Being a gas-powered non-green car, this was exceptional.

The 1994 model began the promise of the Ferrari F50. The 1995 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Ferrari hopes that the F50 Base will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
