In 2005 Maserati released the Coupe GT to the car-buying market. The Coupe came in two configurations: Cambiocorsa and GT. The GT configuration is powered by the 4.2-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 17 highway miles and 11 city. The Coupe competes in the Coupe market segment, in direct competition with Toyota.
One of the staples of the Coupe segment is the Maserati Coupe. In the previous model year debuted a brand new version of the Coupe with two versions: GT and Cambiocorsa. Sales for the Coupe, especially the Coupe GT, were brisk during 2003 and 2004. The improved vehicle quality and the modern styling were responsible for the boost in sales.
