The restyled F430 Scuderia is equipped with a 4.3-liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 32 valves. The engine is mated to a Ferrari six-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2007 version.

The 2008 F430 is an important vehicle to Ferrari for the coupe market segment. The Scuderia is a member of a series of three trim levels for the F430 which include Spider, Base, and Scuderia. The two-door car with its rear-wheel drive is positioned to aggressively fill this niche for Ferrari. There is strong competition from vehicles from Lexus.

Improving on 2008’s Model: The 2009 F430 Revisited

The Scuderia version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 2008 the popular 4.3 liter has made this a popular choice for coupe buyers nationwide.
